LevelDB

Databases

LevelDB is a fast, open-source key-value storage library developed by Google engineers Jeffrey Dean and Sanjay Ghemawat, designed for high-performance read and write operations on disk. It uses a log-structured merge-tree (LSM-tree) architecture and is embedded within larger applications rather than run as a standalone database server. It has been used as a storage engine component in systems like Bitcoin Core, Chrome's IndexedDB, and various blockchain and database projects.
