IT Security Architecture

Cybersecurity

IT security architecture is the discipline of designing an organization's technology systems, networks, and data flows so that security controls (firewalls, encryption, identity management, segmentation) are built in from the start rather than bolted on afterward. Security architects create frameworks and reference designs that guide how applications, cloud services, and infrastructure should be secured. It's a core skill for security engineers, CISOs, and enterprise architects responsible for reducing organizational risk.
