Game Physics

3D, Animation and Game Development

Game physics is the simulation of physical behavior—gravity, collisions, rigid body dynamics, fluid or cloth simulation—within a game engine to make movement and interactions feel realistic or satisfying. Engineers implement or tune physics engines (like Unity's PhysX or Havok) to balance realism with performance and fun, since perfectly realistic physics isn't always the design goal. This is a specialized area of game programming requiring strong math and systems knowledge.
