Filipino Language

Languages

Filipino is the national language of the Philippines, standardized largely from Tagalog and incorporating vocabulary from other Philippine languages and Spanish and English loanwords. It is spoken as a first or second language by the majority of Filipinos and is used in government, education, media, and everyday communication alongside English. Language learners study it for cultural connection, family heritage, business in the Philippines, or travel purposes.
