CSS Animations

Web Development

CSS Animations is a CSS feature (via the @keyframes rule and animation property) that lets developers animate element properties like position, color, or opacity over time without JavaScript. It's used by front-end developers to create transitions, loading spinners, hover effects, and other motion design directly in stylesheets. Because it runs on the browser's rendering engine, it's typically more performant than script-based animation for simple effects.
