Croatian Language

Languages

Croatian is a South Slavic language spoken by roughly 5-6 million people, primarily in Croatia, where it is the official language, as well as in parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries. It uses the Latin alphabet and is closely related to Serbian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin, forming part of the broader Serbo-Croatian dialect continuum. Proficiency in Croatian is useful for business, translation, tourism, or diplomatic work connected to Croatia and the Balkan region.
