Brainstorming Strategies
Soft Skills and Communication
Brainstorming strategies are specific techniques and frameworks—such as mind mapping, brainwriting, the SCAMPER method, or round-robin idea generation—used to structure and improve the effectiveness of idea-generation sessions. Facilitators, teams, and educators use these strategies to overcome groupthink, encourage quieter participants, and produce more diverse and higher-quality ideas than unstructured brainstorming alone. They are commonly taught in business, design thinking, and innovation training programs.
