An Azure Subscription is the billing and access-control boundary within Microsoft Azure that links an organization's or individual's use of cloud resources to a payment method and defines usage limits and quotas. Cloud administrators manage subscriptions to organize resources, control costs, and apply role-based access policies across an organization. Multiple subscriptions can be grouped under a single Azure Active Directory tenant for enterprise management.
