Application Servers

IT Infrastructure and Networking

Application Servers are software frameworks, such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss, or Node.js runtime environments, that host and run the business logic of web or enterprise applications, handling requests between client-facing interfaces and backend databases. Backend developers and system administrators configure and maintain application servers to ensure applications run reliably at scale.
