Amazon SQS (Simple Queue Service)

Cloud Computing and DevOps

Amazon SQS is a fully managed message queuing service that enables applications and microservices to send, store, and receive messages asynchronously between components at scale. It's used by developers to decouple distributed systems, buffering workloads so that producers and consumers can operate independently without losing messages during traffic spikes. SQS offers both standard queues (high throughput, at-least-once delivery) and FIFO queues (strict ordering, exactly-once processing).
