Adobe Flash

Web Development

Adobe Flash (originally Macromedia Flash) was a multimedia software platform used to create animations, interactive web content, games, and video players that ran in a browser plug-in called Flash Player. It was extremely popular in the 1990s and 2000s for web animations, browser games, and early web video before HTML5 offered similar capabilities natively. Adobe officially ended support for Flash Player in December 2020 due to security concerns and the rise of open web standards.
