Zidell Companies is a Portland, Oregon-based, family-owned industrial holding company founded in 1911 that historically operated one of the largest ship-breaking (naval vessel scrapping) yards in the U.S. and later built steel barges for decades. Today it operates through subsidiaries including Zidell Marine (barge leasing/manufacturing) and Tube Forgings of America (welding fittings manufacturing).
