What we do
Waupaca Foundry, founded in 1871, is one of the world's largest independent iron foundries, producing gray, ductile, and compacted graphite iron castings for the automotive, agriculture, construction, and material-handling industries. It is headquartered in Waupaca, Wisconsin, with additional plants in Marinette, Wisconsin, and Tell City, Indiana, and has been owned by private equity firm Monomoy Capital Partners since 2024 (previously owned by Hitachi Metals from 2014-2024).
