Van's Aircraft is an American manufacturer of kit aircraft, best known for its all-aluminum, low-wing RV series of homebuilt airplanes designed for amateur builders. Founded in 1973 by Richard VanGrunsven, over 11,000 Van's aircraft have been built worldwide, representing about a third of the US experimental aircraft fleet; the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in December 2023 amid manufacturing quality issues.
