What we do
Tower Hobbies is a mail-order and online retailer of radio-controlled airplanes, cars, boats, and hobby products, founded in 1971. It merged with Great Planes Model Distributors in 1985 to form Hobbico, and after Hobbico's 2018 bankruptcy, its assets including the Tower Hobbies brand were acquired by Horizon Hobby, which continues to operate it as a hobby retail division.
