What we do
Steak and Ale was a casual dining steakhouse chain founded in 1966 by Norman Brinker that grew to dozens of locations before its parent, S&A Restaurant Corp, closed all 58 remaining restaurants in a 2008 Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The brand was revived by Legendary Restaurant Brands, LLC (also owner of Bennigan's), which opened a new Steak and Ale restaurant in Burnsville, Minnesota in 2024, with additional locations planned in the Midwest and Texas.
