Spirit Petroleum stations operate under "The Spirit® Brand," a national fuel-station brand created for independent energy marketers by the Energy Marketers of America (EMA), a trade association of state and regional fuel marketer groups. Rather than a single corporate-owned chain, it is a licensing/branding program giving independent gas station operators a shared national identity and supply/business support services.
