What we do
Spirit AeroSystems is an American aerostructures manufacturer headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, producing fuselage sections, wings, and flight-deck components for commercial aircraft, primarily for Boeing and Airbus. Originally spun off from Boeing in 2005, it was reacquired by Boeing in a deal that closed in December 2025, with certain Airbus-related assets and programs transferred separately to Airbus.
