Spira is an American footwear brand known for running, walking, and casual shoes that use patented spring-cushioning technology (WaveSpring) embedded in the heel and toe. The original company, founded in El Paso, Texas in 2002 by Andy Krafsur, closed in 2016, but its assets and brand were purchased by another private company that continues to produce and sell Spira shoes today, now based in Los Angeles.
