What we do
The South Dakota Lottery is a state government agency, established after 1986 voter approval, that operates instant-win scratch tickets, in-state and multi-state draw games (such as Powerball and Mega Millions), and video lottery terminals. It is self-funded through game revenue and contributes proceeds to the state's general fund.
