Shipt is a same-day delivery service that lets members order groceries and other goods from partner retailers (including Target, Kroger, CVS, and Costco) via an app or website, with orders fulfilled by independent contractor shoppers. It was founded in 2014 in Birmingham, Alabama, and was acquired by Target Corporation in December 2017 for $550 million.
