Schoolhouse Press is a family-run publisher and retailer of knitting books, patterns, and instructional videos based in Pittsville, Wisconsin. It was founded in the mid-1950s by knitting teacher and author Elizabeth Zimmermann and is now run by her daughter Meg Swansen, who continues to produce publications, host "Knitting Camp," and sell wool and hand-knitting supplies. The company promotes a self-directed, traditional approach to hand-knitting.
