What we do
Royal Gorge Route Railroad is a heritage tourist railroad based in Cañon City, Colorado, operating scenic excursion trains along a historic route through the Royal Gorge, including passage beneath the 1879 hanging bridge. Passenger service on the line resumed in 1999 after Union Pacific sold the 12-mile track segment to the operating partnership.
