Rebel Records is an independent record label founded in 1960 specializing in bluegrass and old-time music, historically home to artists such as the Country Gentlemen, the Seldom Scene, and Ralph Stanley. It has been owned and operated by the Freeman family (David and later Mark Freeman) since 1980 and remains active, headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia.
