RBmedia is the world's largest audiobook publisher, formed in 2017 through the consolidation of several independent audiobook companies including Recorded Books, HighBridge Audio, and Tantor Media. It is privately owned by private equity firms (currently H.I.G. Capital and Francisco Partners) and distributes over 100,000 audiobook titles globally through numerous publishing imprints.
