Founded in 2004 and originally headquartered in Utah, it went public in 2018, was taken private by Vista Equity Partners in 2021 for $3.5 billion, and by 2024 ownership had passed to a group of private credit lenders led by Blue Owl Capital after Vista wrote off its equity stake; the company relocated its headquarters to Westlake, Texas.
