Pioneer Hi-Bred International is an agricultural seed company known for hybrid corn, soybean, and other crop seed development, marketed under the Pioneer brand. Formerly owned by DuPont (as DuPont Pioneer), it is now a subsidiary/brand of Corteva Agriscience. As of mid-2026, Corteva has announced plans to spin off its seed business (including Pioneer) into a new company named Vylor, targeted for completion in Q4 2026, though the separation had not yet occurred as of this writing.
