Newport Creamery is a small regional restaurant chain based in Rhode Island, originating from a 1928 dairy business and known for ice cream and its signature 'Awful Awful' milkshake. After a 2001 bankruptcy, it was acquired by Jan Companies (a Burger King franchisee) and today operates about 8 locations across Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
