Nassau Valley Vineyards, founded in 1993 by Peggy Raley, was Delaware's first commercial winery and required overturning old Prohibition-era state laws to legally operate. Located near Lewes, Delaware, it produces estate and regionally-sourced wines and hosts tastings, tours, and events.
