What we do
Nashville Brewing Company traces its roots to a brewery originally operated in Nashville from 1859 to 1890 (later renamed Gerst Brewing Company, which closed in 1954). The brand was revived in 2016 by beer historian Scott Mertie and Kent Taylor, and today produces award-winning traditional Bavarian and German-style lagers, brewed under contract by Blackstone Brewing Company, with a taproom and tours in Nashville.
