Maytag Dairy Farms is a dairy farm and cheesemaker based in Newton, Iowa, best known for its Maytag Blue cheese, an early American mail-order cheese product. It was founded in 1941 by Frederick Louis Maytag II and his brother Robert (of the Maytag appliance family) and remained family-owned until 2019; it is now owned by AgCertain Industries (via Midwest Growth Partners, 2019-2022).
