What we do
Lufkin Industries, founded in 1902 as the Lufkin Foundry and Machine Company, manufactures oilfield artificial-lift equipment including pumpjacks and rod lift systems for oil and gas production. Once part of General Electric and later Baker Hughes, its Rod Lift Systems business was spun off as an independent company under private equity firm KPS Capital Partners in 2020.
