LibraryThing is a social cataloging web application, founded by Tim Spalding in 2005, that lets users catalog and share their book collections and connect with other readers. It is majority-owned by founder Tim Spalding, with AbeBooks (an Amazon subsidiary) and Cambridge Information Group holding minority stakes, and it acquired the social reading app Litsy in 2018.
