What we do
Jr. Food Stores is a chain of approximately 41 convenience stores operating in south central Kentucky and northern Middle Tennessee. Founded in 1969 by the Reeves family in Bowling Green, Kentucky, it was sold to Houchens Industries in 1998 and continues to operate as one of that company's retail subsidiaries. It is a distinct company from the similarly named Jr. Food Mart chain in Alabama/Louisiana/Mississippi.
