Holstein Association USA is a nonprofit dairy cattle breed organization, originally founded in 1885 (as the Holstein-Friesian Association of America) and based in Brattleboro, Vermont. It maintains pedigree and performance records for over 22 million registered Holstein cattle and provides genetic evaluation, animal identification, and breeding services to dairy producers worldwide.
