Hobart Corporation manufactures commercial food preparation and warewashing equipment, including mixers, slicers, scales, and dishwashers, for the foodservice industry. Founded in 1897 in Troy, Ohio, it has been owned through several corporate parents (Dart & Kraft, Premark) and became a subsidiary of Illinois Tool Works in 1999.
