Ground Round is an American casual dining restaurant chain founded in 1969 by Howard Johnson's, once known for its pub-style menu, Bingo the Clown mascot, and free peanuts. After a 2004 bankruptcy shrank the chain drastically, it survives today with only a handful of franchised locations in the Midwest and Massachusetts.
