What we do
Gristedes is an American supermarket chain founded in 1888 (opened 1891) by brothers Charles and Diedrich Gristede, historically serving Manhattan's affluent East Side with premium groceries. Now a small urban chain of roughly 30 stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn, it is owned by Red Apple Group and its chairman John Catsimatidis.
