What we do
Great Western Railway of Colorado is a short-line freight railroad founded in 1902 to serve the sugar beet industry, originally supporting the Great Western Sugar Company. Now a subsidiary of OmniTRAX, it operates roughly 80 miles of track around Loveland, Johnstown, and Greeley, Colorado, serving industrial customers and interchanging with Union Pacific and BNSF.
