What we do
The Georgetown Loop Railroad is a heritage narrow-gauge tourist railroad running 4.5 miles between Georgetown and Silver Plume, Colorado, featuring a spiral loop and high trestle through the Rocky Mountains. Originally built in 1884 and abandoned in the 1930s, a restored section reopened in 1984; it is owned by History Colorado and operated today by Historic Rail Adventures, LLC as a living-history mining and railroad attraction.
