What we do
Fort Apache Studios was an influential New England recording studio founded in 1985-86 in Boston by Joe Harvard, Paul Q. Kolderie, Sean Slade, and Jim Fitting, later based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It became known for recording alternative rock acts such as the Pixies, Radiohead, Dinosaur Jr., and Hole before relocating to Vermont and then a farm in New Hampshire under owner Gary Smith.
