Federal-Mogul is an American global automotive parts supplier, originally founded in Detroit in 1899, that manufactures engine, safety, and powertrain components and aftermarket parts under brands such as Champion, MOOG, Fel-Pro, and Wagner. It was acquired by Tenneco in 2018 and continues to operate as part of Tenneco, which itself was taken private by Apollo Global Management in 2022.
