Fairbanks Morse Defense is an American manufacturer and servicer of engines, marine propulsion, and related equipment for the U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, and allied naval forces, tracing its roots to the original Fairbanks-Morse company founded in 1823. Established in 2020 when Arcline Investment Management acquired the business from EnPro Industries, the company has since expanded through numerous acquisitions of defense-industrial suppliers.
