Dark Horse Comics is a major American publisher of comics, graphic novels, and manga founded by Mike Richardson in 1986, known for creator-owned titles like Hellboy and Sin City as well as licensed franchises such as Star Wars, Aliens, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was acquired by Swedish gaming holding company Embracer Group in 2022 and also produces films and TV adaptations through Dark Horse Entertainment.
