Credit Union 1 is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative headquartered in Rantoul, Illinois, serving roughly 89,000 members across Illinois, Indiana, Georgia, and Nevada with banking, lending, and business services. It traces its roots to the 1958 Chanute Military Credit Union before broadening membership eligibility over subsequent decades. Note: a separate, unrelated credit union is also named "Credit Union 1," headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.
