Cascade Microtech is a semiconductor test equipment manufacturer, founded in 1983 in Beaverton, Oregon, known for wafer probing systems used to test microchips before they are cut from silicon wafers. It was formerly a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: CSCD) before being acquired by FormFactor, Inc. in 2016 for $352 million and continues to operate as part of FormFactor.
