Calista Corporation is one of the thirteen Alaska Native Regional Corporations created under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971, incorporated in 1972 to serve shareholders primarily of Yup'ik descent. It is a for-profit entity owning about 6.5 million acres in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta and operates subsidiaries in aerospace/defense, construction, IT, and environmental services.
