The Black-eyed Pea is an American "country casual" restaurant chain founded in Dallas, Texas in 1975, known for comfort food such as chicken-fried steak. After multiple ownership changes and bankruptcies since the 1990s, it now operates only about 10 locations, run independently by separate operators in Colorado and Texas.
