Au Bon Pain is a fast-casual bakery-cafe chain, founded in Boston in 1976, known for baked goods, soups, sandwiches, and breakfast items. After a period of decline and store closures (accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic), the chain was acquired in 2021 by AMPEX Brands, a Yum! Brands franchisee, and now operates a reduced number of locations concentrated on the U.S. East Coast plus outlets in Thailand.
