What we do
AT&T Alascom is a telecommunications subsidiary serving Alaska, tracing its roots to the early 1900s Washington-Alaska Military Cable and Telegraph System and later RCA Alascom and Pacific Telecom's Alascom, Inc. It was acquired by AT&T in 1995 and has continued to exist as a legally separate AT&T subsidiary due to Alaska regulatory requirements, having launched several dedicated Aurora communications satellites to serve the state.
